Most input shaping setups measure vibration from the print bed or toolhead housing. Rethonance takes a different approach by placing a high-speed accelerometer directly inside a V6-compatible nozzle, allowing resonance data to be captured at the point where filament meets the print.
Whether you’re tuning a high-performance CoreXY machine, validating mechanical changes, or simply chasing the highest possible print quality, Rethonance delivers cleaner, more representative vibration measurements with minimal setup.
Why Measure at the Nozzle?
Traditional accelerometer mounts measure the motion of the carriage—not necessarily the nozzle itself. Every component between the carriage and the nozzle can introduce flex, compliance, and resonance that remain invisible to conventional sensors.
By integrating the sensor directly into the nozzle, Rethonance captures the true motion of the print tip, helping produce more accurate resonance profiles for input shaping and motion tuning.
