Great Hotend!

Bought this to replace a Phaetus Rapido that was starting to get unreliable with inconsistent heating and frequent firmware shutdown for over temp. This a great little hotend! I had to dissasemble it to rotate the wires to the desired position but this was easy, I am also glad I did, as the thermal paste was not evenly applied by the manufacturer, having fixed that, installed it and completed the PID tuning, this hot end is performing very well with a dead flat tempreture curve. Great service , good prices and fast shipping from Fabreeko as always 5* . Picture is before adjustment, showing wires in wrong place.

So far so great

I don't have a ton of experience with different hot ends. Kits have come with the Dragon HF and I've tried the knock-off Bambu - without much luck. When I killed the Dragon and couldn't easily find a replacement I decided to try the DE neXt G. The documentation was clear on how to readjust the heater and thermistor direction. So far it's been great - heats up fast, has good flow and is a more than adequate replacement for a Dragon. Until I learn better, this will be the hot end I use going forward. Ordered another for a future Micron+ build. Very excited. Mostly about the Micron build, but the neXt G too.

Good hot end

Good little hot end. Heat up fast, and is high flow. But my problem is that I can't seem to get ANY HF hot end tuned to where I have no stringing. Very annoying on my part.

Better speeds than Dragon HF

It has better speeds over the Dragon HF, but the new layout is a bit bulky, and can make it difficult to fit. I put mine in a XOL and it just barely fits. Things to note, both the thermistor and heating element stick outward a decent amount, the heating element having a metal support for the wires. I ordered this one as my spare on-hand, Incase something happens to my first one. The thermistor is real nice, I did however run into issues service it with full heat, when you remove the nozzle, the temperature drops enough that klipper will go into emergency "not heating at expected rate"
I am enjoying it so far though, I can get up to 300 mm/s would like to get it honed it a bit better (slicer settings)
