ALPHA PCD 3D Printer Nozzle – Polycrystalline Diamond (V6 / Prusa / K1C / K2P / Qidi Plus4)
ALPHA Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) Nozzle
Engineered For The Extremes
ALPHA nozzles feature an encapsulated polycrystalline diamond insert with a smooth nickel-plated copper body. This premium combination provides advantages over standard nozzles in thermal conductivity, hardness, maximum printing temperature, thermal expansion, and friction.
212% Harder Than Tungsten Carbide
For years, tungsten carbide has been regarded as the top choice material for abrasive material printing. Now, PCD is here to take the crown with a hardness of 5000 (Vickers HV), making the Alpha nozzle overqualified for printing the most demanding materials.
97.5% Less Friction Than Nickel
Clogs and inconsistent flow kill uptime. ALPHA combines the ultra-low friction coefficient of PCD (0.01) with an internal mirror-polished finish to help filament feed smoothly through the melt zone—reducing buildup and improving reliability.
30% Higher Heat Transfer Than Copper
Put heat where it matters most—right at the point filament exits the nozzle. With PCD thermal conductivity up to 500 W/m·K, ALPHA provides exceptional heat transfer, improving melt stability, flow consistency, and high-speed performance.
