Phaetus Dragon UHF Hotend Ultra-High-Flow 1.75 mm

Phaetus Dragon UHF Hotend Ultra-High-Flow 1.75 mm
Phaetus Dragon Hotend UHF Ultra-High-Flow 1.75 mm Blue
Built for speed , the Phaetus Dragon UHF hotend pairs a lengthened plated-copper heatblock with an extension nut to create a long melt zone for ultra-high extrusion flow. It’s available in 1.75 mm and is compatible with common V6-style interfaces, making it a strong upgrade for high-temperature and fiber-filled materials.
Phaetus describes the UHF as “ultra-high flow.” You’ll see flow claims between ~45 mm³/s (Phaetus product copy) and up to ~70.5 mm³/s on some listings; real results depend on heater power, nozzle size, filament, and tuning
Key features
-
Extended melt zone design: lengthened plated-copper heatblock + extension nut for high throughput
-
Thin-wall titanium heatbreak: excellent thermal isolation and reduced clogging risk
-
High-temp, all-metal filament path: suited to engineering and abrasive materials (observe your printer’s heater and sensor limits)
-
V6-interface compatibility: fits common V6-style nozzles
-
Abrasive-ready: robust construction pairs well with composite filaments
Setup tips
-
Re-PID tune after installation; adjust retraction, pressure advance, and temperature to suit your filament.
-
Ensure adequate heater power for high-flow printing; larger nozzles benefit most.
-
For abrasive filaments, use hardened drive gears and keep the filament path clean.
-
Heat-tighten nozzles to the manufacturer’s torque spec and follow safe installation practices.
