  • Integrated Palette X, allowing up to 8 materials/colours in a single print
  • Modular toolhead, kinematically coupled
  • Integrated purge container with densifier
  • Cloud connected to Canvas slicer software
  • LED print status indicator incorporated into design
  • 2-year manufacturer’s warranty
  • HIWIN Linear Rails
  • CoreXY Kinematics Systems
  • Trinamic Stepper Drivers

Element HT works best when paired with Mosaic Materials and Pods, and is able to print every material Mosaic currently offers, including:

  • Nylon & CF Nylon
  • ABS
  • PLA
  • PETG
  • TPU
  • PVA
  • HIPS
  • PEEK
  • PEKK
  • Ultem 9085

MULTI-MATERIAL MANAGEMENT & AUTOMATED WORKFLOW EXPLAINED

As mentioned above, using Mosaic Materials and Material Pods with Element HT allows you to automate your workflow.

Each Material Pod contains a motor which feeds filament from the Pod to Palette X, and onwards to the print head. Unlike our standalone Palette device, Palette X does not splice the materials. The reason for this is that when using, for example, combinations of high temperature with support materials, splicing becomes less reliable. Element, along with Palette X, has full control over material management and therefore does not require splicing. This promotes higher quality prints while also resulting in less material waste.

Element is also cloud connected to CANVAS. This means creating, editing, organizing and slicing your multi-material models and sending them to the printer is extremely easy. What could once take up to an hour or more becomes a process reduced to a matter of minutes.

Features Highlight

Build Volume

Flexible Application

With a build volume of 14” 3 you’re able to maximize productivity and print several pieces at once, in different colours and materials.

Element optimizes the printing process by simultaneously printing

supports while completing your part(s) in any number of materials

Heated Chamber

Modular Extruder

Element HT’s actively heated chamber will reach 90°C and will aid in the process of printing materials like PEEK, PEKK and Ultem 9085

A modular design makes it easier than ever to remove your print

head for repairs or a swap, and reinstalling it is just as simple!

CLOUD CONNECTED TO CANVAS, FREE SINGLE USER LICENSE INCLUDED

CANVAS is Mosaic’s simple and easy-to-use slicer software. CANVAS comes free for a single user and CANVAS TEAMS will be available for those with a larger workforce, allowing effective collaboration.

  • Perfect for one material, built for multi-material.
  • Set accesses for everyone on the team, from Owners to Contributors.
  • Apply color, logos, serial numbers and more directly to your single file 3D models by digitally painting in CANVAS.
  • Share, Save, organize, and track your print settings in the cloud for yourself or with the team.
  • Monitor your prints from home, or anywhere, using Element’s webcams connected to CANVAS.

FAQ

Q: Can I purchase an Element (HT) and install it in an Array if I decide to purchase one in the future?

A: Unfortunately due to the construction and UI of the standalone Element/HT printer, the user is not able to insert a standalone printer for use inside the Array. The main issues that stop this from happening are the filament pods on the side of the printer (Standalone) vs the back (Array), the Industrial Design of the Casing, as well as the Element Screen, and different door designs for the standalone Element and the Element in Array.

Q: Can you use 3rd party materials with Element (HT)?

A: Yes. Element and Element HT are open to 3rd party materials as long as they are 1.75mm in diameter and print within the specified temperature ranges of the Element or HT. Mosaic will offer a 3rd party filament adapter for their Material Pods, allowing for automated loading, unloading and run-out detection. The main difference with 3rd party materials is that the user will have to manually input the material profile into Canvas before using it for the first time.

Q: What is the nozzle type on the Element (HT)?

A: Hardened steel nozzle.

Q: Is the Extruder all metal? and if so is it on both the Element and Element HT?

A: Both the Element and the Element HT extruders are all metal with hardened steel nozzles and components for reliable printing of abrasive materials (including carbon fiber Nylon). The Element hot end will go up to 350°C while the Element HT hot end will go up to 500°C, in conjunction with a heated chamber of up to 80°C which allows for printing high performance materials such as Ultem 9085 and PEEK. Additionally, this heated chamber helps increase the print quality and strength of lower temp materials, such as Nylons and ABS.

Q: What is the Firmware/Software for the Element?

A: Firmware: Marlin Based Software: Canvas3d.io

Q: How does the Element connection work?

A: The Element to computer connection is being done through CANVAS. Element can connect over ethernet or wifi, but it does need to be online through the internet, it does not connect directly to your computer. Element is connected to Canvas in the same way your computer is - if your computer can access Canvas your Element will be able to as well. There are offline workflows available as well.

Q: Will there be an exhaust system on Element?

A: Element will have a combined HEPA and Carbon filter that can be easily replaced (every 6-12 months based on usage).

Q: What is included in the warranty and is there a warranty document?

A: Warranty covers factory defects. Mosaic will ship our replacement parts for user serviceable parts, and will either have the product returned, or send a representative to fix a warranty claim. (Return vs. visit will depend on cost.)

Q: What is, if any, the return or exchange policy for Element?

A: Products can be traded in for store credit. There are no returns available for Element (HT). For products outside of warranty coverage, our support team will be available to help but the cost of replacement parts will need to be covered by the customer.
